Implement supply chain due diligence law with legal certainty
Use the GLOBAL COMPLIANCE software to meet the comprehensive requirements of the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) effectively and in compliance with the law and to minimize risks in global supply chains.
This is how we proceed
1
Collect basic information and integrate it into the software
2
Abstract risk analysis and identification of risk factors in the supply chain
3
Concrete risk analysis and inquiry of identified risk candidates
6
Bafa-compliant reporting: transferring the results into reports
5
Documentation and monitoring for traceability and transparency
4
Derivation of preventive and corrective measures for risk assessment and timing.
1
Integration into the software
Gather basic information
First, the LkSG-relevant information is transferred to our software and clearly displayed. It provides information about your company structure and the structure of your supply chain. The abstract and concrete risk analysis is then carried out based on this data.
The aim of the LkSG analysis is to create transparency about the risks in the entire supply chain.
2
Systematic assessment
Abstract risk analysis
GLOBAL COMPLIANCE determines the respective risks for each supplier and each subsidiary based on country and industry. This involves a comprehensive systematic assessment of 13 risk factors concerning to human rights and environmental impacts.
The result of the abstract analysis provides a risk value for each location of all companies and suppliers. The higher this value is, the greater the probability that human rights and environmental standards will be violated there.
3
Detailed monitoring
Concrete risk analysis
Once a certain risk value has been determined in the abstract risk analysis, locations and suppliers are subjected to a concrete risk analysis and prioritized. GLOBAL COMPLIANCE offers a fully automated process for this.
The system supports you in determining, weighing, and prioritizing the specific risks using transparent algorithms and data queries.
The system supports you in determining, weighing, and prioritizing the specific risks using transparent algorithms and data queries.
For this purpose, subcontractors and suppliers are required to fill out a questionnaire, based on the responses, further information is obtained, or risks are weighted and prioritized directly.
The questionnaire asks, for example, whether there are strategic and politically binding standards regarding child labor or whether a complete, up-to-date list of employees exists. An upload function is used to verify the documents and evidence for compliance.
4
Minimize risk
Preventive and remedial measures
Once all risks are known, specific preventive and corrective measures are identified to minimize these risks and to create a risk inventory.
Automated warning systems inform those responsible so that they can react promptly. This not only minimizes the risk of reputational loss, but also the legal consequences that can result from non-compliance with the law.
5
Fulfilling standards
Documentation and monitoring
GLOBAL COMPLIANCE offers structured and automated documentation of all analyses performed and measures adopted. This traceability is not only important for internal controls, but also serves as significant evidence for supervisory authorities and other stakeholders.
6
Compliant with the law
Bafa-reporting
GLOBAL COMPLIANCE provides all the building blocks for Bafa-compliant reporting directly from the system. This enables our customers to fulfill the LkSG requirements smoothly and to ensure compliance.
